Intelligent Border Control Solutions

EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL

OUR MISSION

We imagine a Border Control where the most advanced technologies in the field of Big-Data analytics and intelligence sensors can be used and create a better and accurate risk assessment process that eventually will improve the country’s security.

TAKING BORDER CONTROL TO A NEW FRONTIER

With the dawn of the era of globalization in the twentieth century, nations learned how to respond to increasing security challenges including drug and human trafficking, money laundering, and illegal immigration. Events of the twenty-first century have added terrorism and global pandemic to this list – and this matrix of interlocking threats grows ever more complex.

WHO WE ARE

Ground Controls is a worldwide provider of Intelligent Border Control Solutions (IBC) that deliver proactive defense against evolving threats to national borders. Our innovative and advanced technologies improve awareness of potential threats, allowing faster and more accurate risk mitigation. Ground Controls’ focus in the intelligence domain, and specialization in the niche of risk assessment, provides an elementally different approach to border control.
In order to enhance the traditional solutions with an additional layer of intelligence, Ground Controls is composed of an interdisciplinary team of experts. Our in-house R&D team develops a wide array of intelligence systems that collect and analyze data for the purpose of risk assessment. Our team also includes former Special Unit advisors and immigration experts, whose combined experience with advanced identification systems brings unparalleled insight to fill the gaps in the current systems.
Efficient high-quality service and more accurate risk assessment combine to save both time and money. In the past, border control efforts have struggled with an inherent tension between the need to provide comprehensive security and the need to facilitate the flow of passenger traffic through airports. The overarching IBC solution relieves this tension, achieving security protocols that are meticulous, reliable, and fast.

THE CHALLENGE

Increasing globalization throughout the previous century means that more people are moving more often, to more places, for more diverse reasons. This evolution in human mobility presents great opportunities for communities and for nations, as well as great challenges within the fields of border control and national security.
The terror attacks in New York City on 9/11 were a true game changer for the field of border control. Now, the COVID-19 pandemic provides another example of the sort of phenomenon that stems the tide of movement around the world in the short term, and will change the landscape of the travel industry in the long term.
Threat analysis and mitigation will continue to be a critical challenge in the aviation domain. Whether the risk is a known one – such as terror, smuggling, human trafficking, and money laundering – or as unknown as a new pandemic virus, governments will have an ongoing and increasing interest in collecting and analyzing passenger data as early as possible. When it is early, thorough and swift, data collection and analysis is the key to accurate risk assessments at crucial moments

OUR SOLUTIONS

Insights we have accumulated in the intelligence domain provide a realistic viewpoint, and lead us to intelligence-driven solutions that address potential threats at border crossings with exceptional pinpoint accuracy. In combination with traditional border control systems, the IBC solution utilizes mature Intelligence systems and sensors for the collection and analysis of vast amounts of data, to deliver more accurate risk assessment.
Our solution enables comprehensive understanding of a passenger’s identity – both digital and physical – throughout the entire security chain process.
Data will be collected throughout three phases of a traveler’s journey: pre-departure, exit/entry process and arrival at the final destination. The Information will then be fed into a powerful big-data intelligence and investigation system with the capacity to connect the dots for automated advanced insights and predictive analysis. It is the culmination of all these events that determines the information in a passenger’s Digital ID, and in turn, produces an assessment of risk for the passenger.
